Godzilla! Even you think I am talking about the monster of a Hollywood movie, assigning that attribute to the Nissan GTR is not a problem. The name can instill fear and surprise in the mind of anyone. The true monster can permanently plaster a wide grin on the driver's face. The swanking supercar is a brute drag race beater or a track machine rolled out on the road in a delightful package. Nissan introduced GTR at the 2016 Auto Expo and launched the car in following year looking at the growi... 2

It was the last Auto Expo when I put my hands on the Nissan GT-R which was then first revealed for the Indian market. It is the only legendary supercar that Japanese are proud of. If you see this as a joke then you should read this figure, 0-100kmph in just 3 seconds. Isn't it a hell of a monster that has the potential to put other supercars to shame. This is one car whose brain and brawn matters more than the brand. But in countries like India, its main purpose is to give a fillip to the Ja... 13

Nissan GT-R review

Things We Like in GT-R

  • A supercar that can seat 4, albeit snugly.
  • Value-for-money. Offers performance that can match the abilities of cars that cost twice as much.
  • Jaw-dropping performance. 570PS, V6 engine propels the car from 0-100kmph in 3 seconds!
  • Impeccably engineered. One of the best handling cars money can buy.

Things We Don't Like in GT-R

  • Owners may find it too silent.
  • Premium, high-octane fuel required like most supercars. Limits usability in countries like India.
  • Interior is functional. No wow factor for a car this expensive.

Stand Out Features

  • Hand-built engine that gives you blistering performance.

  • ATTESA E-TS all-wheel drive technology that offers great grip and improves performance off the line.

CarDekho Verdict

The GT-R is an example of automotive engineering at its best. It’s a legend that lives up to its name and offers extreme performance for the money.

"At its price of Rs 1.99 crore ex-showroom Delhi, it offers good value even at an exorbitant price."

So if you want one and have the money for it, you don’t need our word to get one!
