  • Mahindra Marazzo Front Left Side
The Marazzo is Mahindra’s new MPV offering that competes against the likes of the Maruti Ertiga and Renault Lodgy, and is placed slightly below the segment king – the Toyota Innova.

Don't miss out on the festive offers this Month
  • Mahindra Marazzo Side View (Left)
The Marazzo is 4,585mm long, 1,866mm wide and 1,774mm tall. It has a wheelbase that spans 2,760mm.
    Mahindra Marazzo DashBoard
The Mahindra Marazzo comes with a dual-tone cabin layout, with silver, chrome and piano black inserts thrown around for added detailing. The interiors are clearly an upgrade over what we have seen on other MPVs from the automaker.
    Mahindra Marazzo Steering Wheel
A glossy black insert runs around the centre console, and extends on to the passenger side, merging with the left AC vent. It gets some printed pattern towards the left. While this particular element does make the cabin feel premium, the glassy panel can attract dust and fingerprints easily.
    Mahindra Marazzo Steering Controls
The Marazzo comes with a 3-spoke steering wheel, with a U-shaped lower spoke that is finished in piano black on the M6 and M8 variants. Steering-mounted audio and telephony controls are offered only on the M6 and M8 trims. While the buttons offer good tactile feel, there are just too many of them. This can be confusing for the driver and will surely take some time to get used to.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Grille
Mahindra says that the Marazzo’s design is inspired by a shark. It thus gets various design elements, especially at the front, that justify this claim. The curved front grille, with teeth-like chrome inserts, is somewhat reminiscent of a shark’s mouth.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Headlight
The top two variants (M6 and M8) of the Marazzo come with projector headlamps, while the lower variants get conventional halogen bulbs. LED daytime running lights (DRLs) are on offer only on the M8 trim. Additionally, the headlamps on the M6 and M8 variants also get follow me home functionality.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Taillight
Vertically laid out wraparound taillamps give the vehicle a wide stance at the back. Also pictured here is the chrome bar of the bootlid that merges into the taillight cluster through the turn indicator housing. Sadly, there are no LED lighting elements at the back, except the high mounted stop lamp that is integrated into the rear spoiler.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Instrument Cluster
The instrument cluster comes with two pods, with a tachometer on the left and a speedometer on the right. Each pod gets a silver bezel that partially circles around the gauges. A 4.2-inch colour TFT screen, located in the middle, shows information like fuel level, engine temperature, time & date, instantaneous and average fuel economy, as well as distance to empty. This coloured screen is available only on the M6 and M8 variants, while the M2 and M4 models get a similarly sized monochrome display instead.
  • Mahindra Marazzo AC Controls
A fully automatic climate control system is on offer only on the top of the line M8 trim of the Mahindra Marazzo. Meanwhile, lower variants come with a manual AC with heater.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Infotainment System Main Menu
A 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system is available on the M6 and M8 variants. It supports GPS, Bluetooth, iPod connectivity, and video playback through USB. The one on the top-spec M8 trim even gets Android Auto compatibility. It is worth noting that this system does not have any physical buttons or knobs. It comes with touch-sensitive buttons on either sides that offer haptic feedback, similar to what we have seen on Honda’s infotainment systems.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Side Mirror (Body)
The door-mounted outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) have a black stalk and lower half. They house integrated turn indicators on all variants. That said, the ORVM cap is body-coloured from the M4 variant onwards.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Exhaust Pipe
Lower part of the rear bumper gets a black cladding that adds a hint of ruggedness to the Marazzo’s character. Also visible here are reverse parking sensors, which are offered on the M6 and M8 variants.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Side View (Right)
A significantly sized crease runs from the taillight, through the outside door handles, continues on to the lower part of the doors, before ending just above the rear wheel arch. This design element helps in minimising the visual bulk of the carâ??s side profile.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Wheel
The top-spec M8 variant of the Mahindra Marazzo gets 17-inch alloy wheels shod with 215/60 section tyres. The M6 trim gets 16-inch alloys with 215/65 section rubber. The M2 and M4 trims have the same tyre profile but get steel rims instead, with the latter getting full wheel covers.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Antenna
A shark fin antenna is located on the rear section of the Marazzo’s roof. However, it is offered as an optional extra. Strange that an MPV whose design is claimed to be inspired by the Shark doesn’t get standard shark fin antenna.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Exterior Image
Mahindra has equipped the Marazzo with disc brakes on all four wheels. This feature, which significantly enhances the MPV’s braking capabilities, is standard across the range.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Exterior Image
The Mahindra Marazzo is available in six colour options – Iceberg White, Oceanic Black, Mariner Maroon, Shimmering Silver, Aqua Marine and Poseidon Purple.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Door view of Driver seat
The steering wheel only gets tilt adjustment. Mahindra should have also provided telescopic adjustment, at least on the top-end variant.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Reading Lamps
The cabin light is located near the front edge of the roof-mounted AC console. Sadly, there are no reading lights for rear seat occupants.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Rear/Side Curtains
The top of the line M8 variant of the Marazzo comes with manually adjustable sun shades for the second row windows. This is a segment-first feature and will surely be useful, especially in our hot weather conditions.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Front Air Vents
The Marazzo comes with what Mahindra calls ‘surround-cool’ air conditioning. It is essentially a rear AC vent that is placed in the middle of the roof, extending from the start of the second row to the end of the third row. It is worth noting that this unit isn’t just a blower that sucks in air from the front AC vents and throws it on rear occupants. Instead, it is a separate AC unit with independent evaporator coil and blower unit.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Interior Image
The Marazzo comes with Mahindra’s EcoSense technology. This feature provides the driver information regarding throttle inputs, acceleration, braking, speed, and idling. Based on these inputs, the car comes up with an Eco Score (out of 100), which lets the driver know how efficiently the vehicle is being driven.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Interior Image
Mahindra has used an unconventionally styled handbrake lever in the Marazzo. The company refers to it as the ‘aircraft-inspired handbrake’. Also visible here is a storage area on the left of the handbrake with a tambour door and a cup holder inside.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Interior Image
Mahindra has plonked a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine under the Marazzo’s hood. It churns out 121PS @ 3500rpm and a peak torque of 300Nm @ 1750-2500rpm. Transmission duties are handled by a 6-speed manual gearbox.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Upholstery Details
The top of the line M8 variant of the Marazzo comes with premium leatherette upholstery. The M6 trim gets premium fabric seats, while even lower variants feature basic fabric upholstery.
  • Mahindra Marazzo Center Console
The overall quality, fit and finish of the interiors is satisfactory for its price range. All switches, buttons and knobs are located ergonomically, and thus it doesn’t take long to settle inside the Marazzo’s cabin.
