  • Hyundai Elantra Front Left Side
Hyundai launched the new gen Elantra in India in 2016. It competes in the D-segment sedan market with rivals like the Skoda Octavia and the Toyota Corolla Altis.
Don't miss out on the festive offers this Month
  • Hyundai Elantra Side View (Left)
The car measures 4,570mm in length, 1,800mm in width and 1,465mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,700mm and a ground clearance of 165mm.
    Hyundai Elantra Rear Left View
It continues to follow the company's Fluidic Design philosophy. This results in a significant amount of creases around the sheet metal, starting from the front grille and ending near the rear number plate area.
    Hyundai Elantra Front View
The Elantra's fascia makes Hyundai's Fluidic Design philosophy apparent. It gets a sleek nose with sharp wraparound headlamps, a wide grille and neatly contoured bumper. Also visible here are the noticeable crease lines that originate from the grille and climb upwards on the bonnet on either side.
    Hyundai Elantra Rear view
The rear profile follows a sleek look. The boot is located slightly higher in order to blend in with the coupe-like roofline. The number plate is located inside a recessed area on the centre of the boot lid.
  • Hyundai Elantra DashBoard
Interiors of the Hyundai Elantra follow an all-black theme, with a few brushed silver inserts thrown around for added detailing. The overall quality of materials used is acceptable for its price range.
  • Hyundai Elantra Steering Wheel
The three-spoke steering wheel is aptly sized and feels nice to use. It gets thumb contours as well. Leather wrap is available on all variants except the base S trim. Tilt adjustment is standard, while telescopic adjustment is available on the SX and above trims. Audio and Bluetooth controls are integrated on the spokes on all variants.
  • Hyundai Elantra Top View
The Elantra comes with a significant glass area. Tall front and rear windshields and wide windows help bring in sufficient light inside the cabin. This is further aided by the electronic windshield on the top of the line SX(O) AT variant.
  • Hyundai Elantra Grille
The face is characterised by a hexagonal 'cascading' grille with horizontal slats and the Hyundai logo as well as the front number plate in the centre. All variants except the base spec S trim get a chrome border on the grille.
  • Hyundai Elantra Front Fog Lamp
Front fog lamps are available in all variants except the entry level S trim. They get projector illumination and are located inside boomerang-shaped housings that are placed on both corners of the front bumper.
  • Hyundai Elantra Headlight
The S, SX and SX AT variants of the Hyundai Elantra come with halogen projector headlamps, while the SX(O) trim features high intensity discharge (HID) projectors instead. Additionally, the top end trim also gets LED daytime running lamps (DRLs) and positioning lamps, located on the lower edge of the headlight assemblies.
  • Hyundai Elantra Taillight
The tail lights get a split section design, divided in the middle by the boot lid. Except the base spec S trim, all variants come with LED illumination for the tail lamps.
  • Hyundai Elantra Instrument Cluster
The instrument cluster gets two pods, with a tachometer on the left and a speedometer on the right. The left pod also houses an analog engine temperature meter on the inside, while the one on the right comes with a fuel gauge. The 3.5-inch TFT MID (multi-information display) includes two tripmeters, a digital speedometer, average speed and time taken for a trip, average & instantaneous fuel economy, and distance to empty.
  • Hyundai Elantra Side Mirror (Body)
Body-coloured outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs) come with integrated turn indicators on all variants. Notice the black part on the lower edge of the ORVM housing that gives it a dual tone look. Also visible here is the chrome beltline on the lower edge of the windows, which is available on all variants except the base spec S trim.
  • Hyundai Elantra Door Handle
Chrome door handles are available on the SX(O) trims only, with the lower variants getting body-coloured handles instead. The black button seen here is the request sensor for the keyless entry feature available with the SX(O) trim. Keyhole is available only on the driver side.
  • Hyundai Elantra Cup Holders (Front)
Two cup holders are located next to the handbrake lever, towards the passenger side seat. Notice the chrome border encircling the storage area.
  • Hyundai Elantra Infotainment Stytem
An 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system is available on SX and above variants. It comes with navigation, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, MirrorLink, Voice Command, and an Arkamys Sound Mood system. Meanwhile, the base spec S trim comes with a 5.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system. All variants get audio support from USB, AUX-in and Bluetooth.
  • Hyundai Elantra Glovebox
The glovebox gets cooling functionalities on all variants of the Hyundai Elantra.
  • Hyundai Elantra Front Wiper
The Elantra misses out on some features like automatic rain-sensing wipers, glovebox illumination, etc.
  • Hyundai Elantra Side View (Right)
The car gets a coupe-like roofline that adds a pinch of dynamism to its side profile. Also notice the integrated spoiler lip on the edge of the boot lid.
  • Hyundai Elantra Wheel
All variants come with 16-inch 10-spoke gunmetal alloy wheels that are wrapped with 205/60 section tyres. Even the spare wheel is an alloy, something that is seldom seen in the Indian market.
  • Hyundai Elantra Door Controls
All four doors of the Elantra come with 1-litre bottle holders and a speaker. The top of the line SX(O) variant also gets a couple of tweeters at the front.
  • Hyundai Elantra AirBags
Dual front airbags (driver and co-passenger) are standard on all variants of the Elantra, along with anti lock braking system (ABS) and electronic brake force distribution (EBD). The SX(O) AT variants get additional side and curtain airbags as well. Meanwhile, electronic stability control (ESC), vehicle stability management (VSM) and hill-start assist control (HAC) are available on the SX(O) and SX(O) AT variants.
  • Hyundai Elantra Antenna
SX and above variants get a shark fin antenna located at the rear of the roof.
  • Hyundai Elantra 3D Model
Elantra's dynamic design gives it an imposing stance ensuring unmatched road attention.
  • Hyundai Elantra Exterior Image
The sedan from Hyundai provides optimum driving stability. It gets state-of-the-art MacPherson strut suspension at the front and a CTBA at the rear.
  • Hyundai Elantra Rear Right Side
Except the S trim, all higher variants get four parking sensors on the rear bumper. There is also a black insert on the lower end of the bumper that reduces the visual bulk of the rear end.
  • Hyundai Elantra Front Right View
Hyundai is offering 5 colour options with the Elantra sedan: Marina Blue, Polar White, Sleek Silver, Phantom Black, and Red Passion.
  • Hyundai Elantra Rear View Mirror/Courtesy Lamps
The SX(O) trim comes with electrochromic type (ECM) inside rear view mirror (IRVM). Lower variants get a manually adjustable day/night IRVM instead. Also visible here are the two cabin lights located at the front of the roof.
  • Hyundai Elantra Rear Seats
The rear seat gets three adjustable headrests. Interestingly, the Elantra's rear seats don't have a fold down functionality altogether, let alone a 60:40 split.
  • Hyundai Elantra Glovebox (Closed)
The passenger side of the dashboard is slightly bland, specially when compared to the busy design of the centre console and the driver side area. The silver insert in the middle helps break the visual bulk of the black dashboard.
  • Hyundai Elantra Rear Air vents
Rear AC vents are standard on all variants of the Hyundai Elantra. Both vents get a common air flow controller in the middle. However, rear seat occupants can adjust the direction of the air flow independently.
  • Hyundai Elantra Center Console
The base S variant gets a manual AC with heater, while higher variants come with a dual-zone automatic climate control instead. All buttons on the climate control console get blue backlighting.
