Don't miss out on the festive offers this Month
  • Honda City Front View
Honda City received its last mid-life update in 2017, when the company introduced a cosmetic facelift of the popular C-segment sedan.
    Honda City DashBoard
The overall cabin layout of the new Honda City remains fairly similar to the pre-facelift model. This includes an all-black dashboard with some piano black and brushed silver accents. Meanwhile, the door pads and roof lining are finished in beige to make the cabin feel more airy.
    Honda City Steering Wheel
The three-spoke steering wheel remains largely unchanged. It comes with tilt adjustment on all variants, while telescopic adjustment is offered only in the VX and ZX variants. These top two variants also get the premium leather steering wrap visible here.
    Honda City Ignition/Start-Stop Button
The facelifted model also gets a new engine start/stop push button which now comes with white and red illumination. This option is available in the V, VX and ZX variants.
  • Honda City Steering Controls
The left spoke of the steering wheel gets integrated buttons for the infotainment system. The centre button is used to change source of the media playback, buttons on the left and right change the track being played, while volume can be controlled using the top and bottom buttons.
  • Honda City Top View
Another major highlight of the new City's feature list is an electronic sunroof. It is available only in the VX and ZX variants. Interestingly, the pre-facelift model also came with a sunroof, though it was available only in a single variant.
  • Honda City Grille
The new City continues to get a prominent chrome bar on the front grille, with the H-logo housed in the center. This has been a signature design element of all recent cars from Honda.
  • Honda City Front Fog Lamp
The circular fog lamps are located in larger housings that feature a mesh-like pattern. On the V trim, these fog lights include standard halogen bulbs, while the higher VX and ZX variants get LED fog lamps.
  • Honda City Headlight
One of the biggest talking points of the facelifted Honda City are the new LED headlamps, which are available only in the VX and ZX trims. Lower variants get standard halogen bulbs instead. However, the LED daytime running lamps, which are placed on the lower edge of the headlight assemblies, are standard on all variants.
  • Honda City Instrument Cluster
The instrument cluster continues to come with a 3-pod layout, with the speedometer in the centre, tachometer on the left, and a circular MID screen on the right. The MID is a monochromatic LCD screen that is standard on all variants. It reads out information like date
  • Honda City AC Controls
Honda offers automatic climate control with touch control panel as a standard offering across the City lineup.
  • Honda City Side Mirror (Body)
All variants, except the entry-level S trim, get LED turn indicators integrated on the outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs).
  • Honda City Door Handle
The door handles on the V, VX and ZX trims get a chrome treatment. Additionally, these three trim levels also come with the Honda Smart Key System for keyless entry and go.
  • Honda City Gear Shifter
The Honda City continues to be offered with a CVT automatic gearbox with the petrol engine. It is available in the V, VX and ZX grades. Sadly, there's no diesel automatic option on offer.
  • Honda City Front Wiper
With the facelift, Honda also added a new top-end ZX trim to the City's lineup. This new variant comes with many features like automatic intermittent wipers and automatic headlamps.
  • Honda City Side View (Right)
The side profile remains largely unchanged, with the 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels being the most significant distinction between the new and old models. Since the front and rear bumpers too are all new, some new sharper lines on both ends of the side profile help in accentuating the car's character, even when looking at it from the side.
  • Honda City Wheel
The new 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels are offered only with the VX and ZX trims. They are wrapped in 185/55 section tyres. The V trim gets smaller 15-inch alloys, while the remaining lower variants come with steel rims.
  • Honda City AirBags
Built on the Advanced Compatibility Engineering body structure, the City provides you peace of mind on the safety front. While all the safety and security features are shared, the SV, V, and VX trim miss out on the front side and side curtain airbags.
  • Honda City Antenna
All variants except the entry-level S trim get a shark fin antenna mounted at the rear portion of the roof, while the S variants come with a regular pole antenna, located at the front section of the roof.
  • Honda City Seats (Aerial View)
The top two VX and ZX variants get premium beige leather upholstery for the door pads, arm rests and seats, while the lower variants get standard fabric upholstery.
  • Honda City Model and Badging
The range-topping ZX variant comes with LED tail lights. Also, the headlamps, turn indicator, and illuminated number plate all get LED units.
  • Honda City Rear Right Side
The bootlid mounted spoiler seen here is a new addition to the City's top-end ZX variant, while the shark fin antenna is standard on all variants except the entry-level S trim.
  • Honda City Front Right View
The Honda City is available with two engine options - a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol and a 1.5-litre I-DTEC diesel. While the petrol is offered with the option of a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic, the diesel is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard.
  • Honda City Pedals
Interestingly, the City gets beige carpets. While these look good and make the cabin look airy, they are a nightmare to maintain in Indian conditions. The absence of a dead pedal becomes a lot more apparent while driving the automatic variants, when the left leg isn't being used.
  • Honda City Rear View Mirror/Courtesy Lamps
On the facelifted model, the rear view mirror has become a size wider, thus improving rear visibility. The VX and ZX variants get auto dimming feature and a frameless design for the IRVM.
  • Honda City Reading Lamps
The top two trim levels (VX and ZX) get one-touch electronic sunroof. Seen here are the buttons for the same, along with the front map lights.
  • Honda City Sun Roof/Moon Roof
The range-topping VX and ZX trims of Honda City get an electric sunroof with one-touch open/close function with auto reverse function.
  • Honda City Rear/Side Curtains
Providing rear passengers clear visibility is the rear reading lamp. The VX gets one with bulb; the ZX features LED units.
  • Honda City Rear Seats
All variants of the new City come with ISOFIX child seat mounts on the rear seat. Other standard safety features include dual front airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and anti-theft security alarm. The top-end ZX variant also gets side and curtain airbags, taking the total airbag tally to 6.
  • Honda City Steering Position Adjustments
Helping the driver achieve perfect driving position is the tilt and telescopic adjustment feature. While the former is a standard offering, the later is limited to the VX and ZX trims.
  • Honda City Grab Handle
Handles For the comfort and convenience of passengers, City features rotational grab handles with damped fold-back motion. While the SV, V, and VX get three handles, the ZX features four.
  • Honda City Interior Image
All the four variants of Honda City - SV, V, VX, and ZX get driver seat with a manual height adjuster.
  • Honda City Right Corner Front View
The right spoke houses buttons for the cruise control, which is available on all variants except the entry-level S trim. The steering also gets integrated telephonic control buttons near the lower spoke, along with a new button for activating voice recognition.
  • Honda City Rear Air vents
Except the base line S trim, all variants come with independent rear AC vents along with a single air flow control.
