  • Honda BRV Front Left Side
The Honda BR-V was launched in 2016 as a 7-seater SUV. However, it shares its underpinnings with the Honda Mobilio, which was an MPV. As a result, Honda designers have added some SUV-like design elements to the BR-V to justify its claim of being an SUV while giving it a rugged look that Indian customers love. All variants come with body-coloured outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs). Notice that the lower part of the ORVM cap is finished in black, thus giving it a dual-tone colour scheme. Integrated turn indicators are available only on the V and VX variants.
Don't miss out on the festive offers this Month
  • Honda BRV Side View (Left)
The BR-V is 4,456mm long, 1,735mm wide, and 1,666mm tall. It is worth noting that the E, S and V variants are 3mm shorter than the top-spec VX. The wheelbase spans 2,662mm.
    Honda BRV Front View
The BR-V has an upright nose, an aggressively styled bumper, and a pair of swept back headlamps. The biggest difference between the Mobilio and the BR-V lies up front, as the latter looks more contemporary, rather than the slightly curvy face of the Mobilio.
    Honda BRV Rear view
The rear sports a long tailgate, with the number plate housing located in the lower section. The tail lights get a split-section design, and are joined through a slim strip of reflector. The top-end VX variants gets a faux skid plate on the bumper.
    Honda BRV DashBoard
The Honda BR-V's cabin follows an all-black design theme. It gets some silver and chrome accents as well. The dashboard layout is similar to the one seen on the facelifted version of the previous-generation Amaze compact sedan.
  • Honda BRV Steering Wheel
The three-spoke steering wheel is a straight lift from the third-generation City. It looks and feels premium and even gets a leather wrap on the top-end VX variant.
  • Honda BRV Ignition/Start-Stop Button
V and VX variants of the Honda BR-V come with push-button start/stop functionality. The button is finished in a vibrant red colour and gets a silver surround.
  • Honda BRV Steering Controls
Steering-mounted audio controls are available on all models of the BR-V, except the base-spec E variant. The left spoke of the steering wheel includes buttons for controlling the music system's volume, channel/song, and the mode of media playback.
  • Honda BRV Grille
Like all recent Honda cars, the BR-V also gets a prominent chrome bar at the front. This is standard across all variants. Also notice the mesh type pattern of the grille below the chrome bar.
  • Honda BRV Front Fog Lamp
Front fog lamps are available only on the V and VX variants. They are located inside large black housings and also get a chrome bezel garnish.
  • Honda BRV Headlight
Projector headlamps are standard on all variants of the BR-V. These are blacked out look to enhances the aggressive character of the face. LED position lamps, seen here, are offered on the top-of-the-line VX variant.
  • Honda BRV Taillight
The tail lights get a split-section layout. The portion on the side fender houses the turn indicator, LED light guide and stop lamp, while that on the tailgate includes the reverse lamp.
  • Honda BRV Instrument Cluster
The instrument cluster gets a three-pod design. The largest pod in the centre houses the speedometer, the one on the left includes an analog tachometer, while that on the right gets a monochromatic MID screen. The MID gets 2 trip metres, clock, tank range, and fuel economy.
  • Honda BRV AC Controls
Except the E variant, all variants of the BR-V come with automatic climate control (ACC) system. The monochromatic screen is easy to read and has a bright font. The E variant, however, does get a manual AC with heater.
  • Honda BRV Side Mirror (Body)
All variants come with body-coloured outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs). Notice that the lower part of the ORVM cap is finished in black, thus giving it a dual-tone colour scheme. Integrated turn indicators are available only on the V and VX variants.
  • Honda BRV Door Handle
The door handles are finished in chrome on the V and VX variants, while lower variants get a body-coloured treatment instead.
  • Honda BRV Gear Shifter
The petrol variants get the option of a CVT automatic gearbox, which can be opted for only with the V variant. Interestingly, the automatic variants also come with paddle shifters.
  • Honda BRV Front Wiper
The BR-V misses out on features like automatic rain-sensing wipers and automatic headlamps. It is worth noting that many cars in a segment below also offer these.
  • Honda BRV Side View (Right)
In order to make the BR-V look like an SUV, Honda designers have added black body cladding on the lower body panels and prominent silver roof rails. Notice the kink in the window line, which has been borrowed from the Mobilio.
  • Honda BRV Wheel
Dual-tone 16-inch alloy wheels are available on the V and VX variants. They are wrapped in 195/60 profile tyres. All other trims come with steel rims instead.
  • Honda BRV Rear Wiper
Rear wiper and washer are available on all variants except the base-spec E. Also visible here is the subtle roof-mounted spoiler.
  • Honda BRV Door Controls
All four power windows are standard on all variants of the BR-V, with the driver window also getting auto up and down functionality. Outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs) are electrically adjustable on the S, V and VX variants, while the top two variants get electrically foldable ORVMs as well.
  • Honda BRV AirBags
Dual front airbags (driver and passenger) are standard across the range. However, anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic brake force distribution (EBD) are absent on the entry-level E petrol variant.
  • Honda BRV Boot (Open)
The Honda BR-V offers a boot space of 223 litres with all 3 rows of seats upright. However, flipping down the third row can expand the luggage space to 691 litres. The third row seats also get a 50:50 split capability that further enhances the flexibility of carrying luggage and passengers simultaneously.
  • Honda BRV Front Grill - Logo
The front chrome bar above the grille houses the Honda 'H' logo in the centre.
  • Honda BRV Antenna
A stubby antenna for radio reception is located on the rear section of the car's roof.
  • Honda BRV Side Mirror (Glass)
Notice the flared wheel arches with the black body cladding. A character line runs from the front wheel arch and extends up to the window line. This gives the side profile a hint of dynamism.
  • Honda BRV Key
All variants of the Honda BR-V come with keyless entry. The Smart Key gets two large buttons - lock and unlock. The tasteful presence of piano black insert on the key fob looks good as well.
  • Honda BRV Seats (Aerial View)
The BR-V is a 7-seater. This is a big advantage over other crossovers and SUVs at this price point that offer a seating capacity of five.
  • Honda BRV Door view of Driver seat
The centre console gets piano black detailing on all variants. While this does look good, it is a fingerprint magnet and can thus get dirty frequently.
  • Honda BRV Rear Right Side
Though Honda claims the BR-V to be an SUV, it looks more like a rugged MPV, especially from the side and rear profiles. This has become a branding challenge for the Japanese automaker.
  • Honda BRV Front Right View
The BR-V is available in five colours - White Orchid Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, and Carnelian Red Pearl.
  • Honda BRV Rear View Mirror/Courtesy Lamps
The inside rear view mirror (IRVM) is of a slightly smaller size, which takes a toll on the rear visibility. It also lacks auto-dimming feature, as all variants of the BR-V just get manual day/night adjustment for the IRVM. Also notice the cabin light mounted near the IRVM. Individual map reading lights would have been more convenient.
  • Honda BRV Floor Mounted AC Vents
The passenger side area of the dashboard gets a patterned panel just above the glovebox. It might look to be perforated when viewing from a distance, but actually gets a smooth surface.
  • Honda BRV Speakers
The S, V and VX variants come with front and rear speakers that are connected to the music system. On the other hand, the V and VX variants get a set of tweeters as well, which improves the sound output from the system. Seen here is the front tweeter located just near the A-pillar on the doors.
  • Honda BRV Front Air Vents
The centre AC vents are shaped like wedges. All front AC vents get a silver border on every variant, which helps in breaking the monotonous black looks of the dashboard.
  • Honda BRV Grab Handle
Grab handles have adequate spring loaded damping, with the ones in the second row also getting coat hooks.
  • Honda BRV Sunglass Holder
A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system is available on the top-of-the-line VX variant. It gets in-built satellite navigation, MirrorLink Smartphone connectivity, 1.5 GB internal storage, WiFi compatibility, and voice recognition. The E, S and V variants come with a basic 2-DIN music system with USB, AUX-in and radio support.
  • Honda BRV Glovebox (Closed)
The glovebox is slightly smaller in size for a car of these proportions. It lacks any cooling function as well.
  • Honda BRV Front Seats (Passenger View)
The entry-level E variant of the Honda BR-V comes with basic fabric upholstery. The S and V variants get premium fabric, while the top-of-the-line VX trim comes with premium leather upholstery.
